how much does it cost?
Anywhere from $10 per person for party platter delivered to $150 person for a full-service private dinner party with a very high-end menu. There’s a lot of factors that determine the cost of your event. We are committed to finding options that will work with your budget, so let us know what your limitations are and we’ll get creative to find delicious options that will work for you. As a general guideline though, the total cost per person is approximately what it would cost to eat a similar meal at a restaurant. If you need event rentals (tables, chairs, linens, dishes…) we are happy to coordinate that through a third party rental company and that typically costs $5-$12 per person depending on your needs and what the venue provides.
what does your quote include?
Our quote includes the menu cost, the service cost, rental cost if applicable and sales tax. Gratuity is left to your discretion.
do you offer wedding tastings?
Yes, we offer 2 types of tasting. The Chef’s Tasting which is complimentary if you choose to retain our services and consists of 5 dishes selected by the catering director for 2 people. We also offer custom tastings which we bill by time and materials. Both tastings need to be scheduled after your quote has been reviewed. You may also try our food by coming in any time and dining at The Farm Table Restaurant.
Can you cater at locations without a kitchen on-site?
Absolutely! We can either bring the food in hot or create a pop-up kitchen at the venue. Let us know when requesting a quote if there is no kitchen available as some menu items lend themselves to traveling hot better than others and a pop-up kitchen requires more staff time to set-up.
can I supplement what we order from The farm table with dishes or drinks that we provide ourselves?
Yes. Our clients are welcome to provide family-made dishes, desserts or purchased beverages.
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK THE FARM TABLE FOR MY EVENT?
As soon as possible. We take one large event per weekend to give our clients our undivided attention and we book up. We recommend securing a caterer and a venue for weddings and other large events as soon as you finalize your date. For smaller “to-go orders” like lunch boxes and party platters, as much notice as possible is always appreciated, but we can accommodate most short notice orders within 2 days.
HOW DO I SECURE A DATE FOR CATERING?
First review your quote. We require a 30% deposit and a signed service agreement to secure your date. You may continue to make reasonable changes to service options and your menu up until a couple weeks prior to the event so there’s no need to feel like every detail needs to be set in stone prior to retaining our services.
